  • Overview


    E’terie will be responsible for strict POS cashiering. procedures as well as culinary execution of all items in the menu and on display. Responsible for in Room Dining services for the hotel guest. Maintain and strictly abide by State sanitation/Health regulations and Hotel requirements.

    • Cooks, ensures all meals are suitable for consumption according to standard recipes to ensure consistency of product to the guest. Visually inspects, selects and uses all food items of the highest quality in the preparation of all menu items.
    • Prepare food in accordance with Brand working menus, recipe cards and photos.
    • Keeps adequate supplied of all prepared products (grab and go food items) forecast prepared by management.
    • Use of proper portion control on all items prepared and keeps spoilage /waste to a minimum by utilizing proper quantities and rotating products. FIFO system must be use
    • Keeps all refrigeration, Merry Chef, Panini Grill, Induction burner, Cabinets, storage, and working areas in clean, working condition to comply with health department regulations.
    • Organizes and transfers food items into lexans as needed, label and date for proper use and identification.
    • Turns on and off all kitchen equipment and ensures all is in working condition.
    • Complete opening duties: a) set up work station with required mis en place, tools, equipment and supplies. b) Inspect the cleanliness and working condition of all tools, equipment and supplies. c) Check production schedule and pars. d) Establish priority items for the day. e) Inform management of any supplies that need to be requisitioned for the day's tasks. f) Transport supplies from the Storeroom and stock in designated areas.
    • Inform management of any shortages before the item runs out.
    • Communicate to management any assistance needed during busy periods to ensure optimum service to guests.
    • Maintain proper storage procedures as specified by Health Department and Hotel requirements.
    • Closing Duties: a) Return all food items to the proper storage areas. b) Wrap, cover, label and date all items being put away. c)     Straighten up and organize all storage areas. d) Clean up and wipe down food prep areas, reach-ins/walk-ins.


    Education & Experience:  

    • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): or Work Equivalent.
    • Must have good understanding of the English language and  previous guest/customer relations training. 
    • Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service preferred.
    • Must be TIPS, CARE (or equivalent) certified, or become certified by first day on the job.
    • Ability to input and access information in the property management system/computers/point of sales system.
