The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for assisting in the analysis and financial related data related to hotel management and brand reporting. This position requires a professional that is highly motivated and a self-starter. This individual must be analyze and decipher accounting data to accurately review the department’s reporting obligations. He/she must be able to identify problems and develop innovative solutions to further efforts toward continuous process improvements. In addition, he/she must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and be able to perform a variety of tasks under time pressure and strict deadlines.

• Responsible for assisting in the analysis, financial reporting and benchmarking of Crestline managed hotels
• Monthly financial statements
• Communicate operating results to various senior leaders
• Provide explanations for financial statement variances (vs. forecast, budget) to leadership
• Perform financial analysis of data reported
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans (analytical support)
• Streamline reporting and forecasting processes with a focus on new technology to drive business performance
• Synthesize research and findings into concise presentations
• Identify and drive continuous process improvements
• Provide analytical support for projects supporting business initiatives

• Bachelor's Degree (four year college or university) in Accounting, Finance or other related field
• One to two years of related experience
• Ability to thrive in an environment that is both strategic and creative, and which requires rapid learning, multitasking and prioritizing under tight deadlines
• Proven track record of proactively problem solving complex issues
• Proven computer proficiency in Excel
• Ability to work proactively, independently and as a strategic partner in a team environment
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage conflict/resolution
• Demonstrated problem solving, decision making, and continuous process improvement skills
• Demonstrated partnering, influencing, and communication skills up and down the organizational structure to convey key elements in a concise and positive manner
