The Prep Cook produces required cold prep items in kitchen to forecasted business. He/she reviews production sheets, BEOs (Banquet Event Orders), and par sheets in order to prepare for the day’s events. The Prep Cook also produces all cold food presentations for buffets, banquets and a la carte. This position finishes desserts for a la carte, buffets, and banquets. He/she prepares all food to the highest quality and appearance in accordance with approved recipes. When needed, this position helps out on pantry, hot line, and/or omelet station.
